ARTBO is a textile-based art and design practice founded by Korean artist Yejin Shin in Los Angeles.

Rooted in Korean textiles, the practice explores the subtle relationship between light, color, material, and space. Traditional fabrics and hand-stitching become a means of shaping contemporary objects and spatial works, where transparency, texture, and shifting light are integral to the form.

Each work is developed through a slow, hands-on process, allowing the material and the trace of the hand to remain visible. ARTBO brings Korean textile traditions into a contemporary context through one-of-a-kind and limited works that exist between art, design, and object.
